Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 18 July 2026

This accessibility statement applies to ridefaster.co.uk.

RideFaster is a trading name of BicycleRepair2U. We want as many people as possible to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities.

We are committed to improving the accessibility and usability of our website and aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA.

Using this website

We aim to make it possible for visitors to:

  • navigate the website using a keyboard;

  • zoom in without text becoming unreadable;

  • use the website with screen-reading software;

  • understand the website’s headings, links and instructions;

  • view text with sufficient colour contrast;

  • understand product images through appropriate text alternatives;

  • complete contact, basket and checkout forms;

  • pause, stop or avoid unnecessary moving content; and

  • use the website on different screen sizes and devices.

The accessibility features available may depend partly on your browser, device, assistive technology and the third-party services used by the website.

Accessibility status

We aim for ridefaster.co.uk to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA.

The website has not yet undergone a complete independent accessibility audit. We therefore do not currently claim that every page or feature fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

We are working to identify and correct accessibility problems as part of the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the website.

Known accessibility limitations

We have not yet completed a full accessibility assessment, so there may be issues that have not been identified.

Possible areas requiring further testing include:

  • keyboard navigation;

  • visible keyboard focus indicators;

  • colour contrast;

  • alternative text for product and promotional images;

  • form labels and error messages;

  • heading structure;

  • link descriptions;

  • zoom and text resizing;

  • navigation on mobile devices;

  • cookie-consent controls;

  • the shopping basket and checkout process;

  • content or controls supplied by third parties; and

  • compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies.

This list does not necessarily mean that each of these areas contains a problem. It identifies the main parts of the website that need to be checked during a formal accessibility review.

Third-party services

Some parts of our website may be provided or supported by third parties, including Square for payment processing.

Although we aim to select accessible services, we may not have complete control over the accessibility of third-party content, payment pages, embedded features or external websites.

Please contact us if a third-party service prevents you from completing a purchase or accessing information. We will consider reasonable alternative ways to provide the information or service.

  • colour-contrast checks;

  • screen-reader testing;

  • testing on desktop and mobile devices; and

  • manual review of forms, links, headings, images and checkout functions.

We intend to review the website following significant design or functionality changes and periodically as part of its ongoing maintenance.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

Our ongoing accessibility work may include:

  • reviewing product images and alternative text;

  • improving headings and page structure;

  • checking forms and validation messages;

  • improving keyboard navigation and focus visibility;

  • checking text and interface colour contrast;

  • reviewing link wording;

Accessibility will be considered when new pages, products, content and features are added.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 18 July 2026.

It is based on the information currently available about the website. A formal WCAG 2.2 Level AA audit has not yet been completed.

This statement will be reviewed after an accessibility assessment, after significant changes to the website or within 12 months of its last review, whichever occurs first.
