Check Before You Buy

Compatibility depends on your complete e-bike configuration, not only the bike manufacturer or model name.

Before ordering, check:

• the exact motor model;

• the motor generation;

• the display or controller;

• the connector type;

• the available connection ports;

• product exclusions;

• electronic gear-shifting components; and

• current firmware compatibility.

Do not open or install a product unless you are confident that it is designed for your e-bike system.

Important UK Legal Notice

A standard electrically assisted pedal cycle must meet the applicable EAPC requirements, including stopping electrical assistance at 15.5 mph.

Installing and activating a tuning product that allows electrical assistance to continue above this limit means the bike will no longer meet normal EAPC requirements.

A modified bike must not be used on public roads, cycle lanes, cycle tracks or other public places unless it has been appropriately approved, registered and insured and is being used in accordance with all applicable motor-vehicle requirements.

SpeedBox tuning products sold by RideFaster are intended for use on private land with the landowner’s permission.

Installing a tuning product may also affect the e-bike manufacturer’s warranty.
